Burro Bags and I just wrapped a t-shirts series that I designed based on a mix of playing cards and what else, bikes. Well, the people who ride them. Burro has been in the messenger bag/bike game for years now and I've always enjoyed working with them. They are seriously great guys to work with and they bring a lot of positive energy and passion to whatever project they are working on, so whenever I get a chance to work with them it's a blast. This series came about from just playing around with the idea of incorporating certain type of cyclists and face card. We have the One Eyed Jack bike polo player, with his mallet, ball, chain lock and a nice moustache to top it off. The Queen represents all the females who can ride with the boys and wrench their own bikes, she sports a chain whip and lock ring tool. The Suicide King is well, the king. He's the guy who dominates the ally cat and drinks beer after the race and probably some right before it. Last but not least is the Ace of Spades, this one actually is the stand out of the pack, white on a black long sleeve. All of the elements of a fixed gear are reversed out of the spade, and each part of the bike is sized to scale.
These shirts are a limited edition series so get them while you can, to purchase one go here.
